Exciting things happening in music...

• Autumn Term 2 and Spring term 1: Year 4 will be learning the Ukulele 
• Spring term 1 Year 5 will be performing at The Hexagon in the Junior Music Festival with Berkshire Music Trust
• Singing assemblies are changing! We are going to try singing assemblies in phases which means we can hopefully sing even more songs, and all get to sing the songs we love most.

We are lucky to have access to so much music at Thameside through music lessons in class, events such as the JMF and instrumental lessons from our peripatetic music teachers in piano, violin and guitar.

2023-2024

Year 4  really enjoyed learning the Violin in the Autumn Term 2023 with Mrs Harkins. 

We are very proud of Year 5 for performing at the Junior Music Festival in November 2024 at The Hexagon. This is organised by Berkshire Music Trust and always such a fun and exciting event, we look forward to doing it all again in 2025!
